It's about time! Simpson and fiance Eric Johnson welcomed baby girl Maxwell Drew Johnson Tuesday morning

Jessica Simpson has given birth to a baby girl, Maxwell Drew Johnson. It is her first child with fiance, Eric Johnson. A source tells Us Weekly magazine that Maxwell weighed in at 9 lbs. 13 ounces and that "Mother and baby are doing just fine."
Simpson annouced the news on her website shortly after, writing, "Eric and I are elated to announce the birth of our baby girl, Maxwell Drew Johnson. We are grateful for all the love, support and prayers we have received. This has been the greatest experience of our lives!!"
Simpson lists the stats as 9 lbs., 13 oz. and 21¾ in. Drew is Jessica's mother, Tina's maiden name.
TMZ previously reported that Jessica, her mother Tina and her sister Ashlee arrived at an L.A. hospital tuesday morning along with Eric Johnson's parents. The web site posted photos of the family's arrival.
Jessica was pregnant for what seemed like an eternity, and even celebs began to weigh in recently on the status of her baby.
