Hey Hey! RIC LARSON here making my debut in Cyberspace! Thanks for dropping in on my blog page! Check me out on the regular air space from 3pm-7pm each weekday! I'll keep you up to date on what's happening in country music, give you some "little known facts" about country artists and of course play you some great country music! Also, be sure to stop by here each day for some really cool info and the opportunity to interact with me!

Oh yeah... one of the things I LOVE about working here is our "theme days." These pictures were taken on "Hawaiian shirt Fridays!" I found this "bargain" on the $1 rack at a yard sale earlier this summer! More photos are coming soon from "Tank Top Tuesdays!" Brace yourself!

TAKE CARE WITH THOSE OLD HARD DRIVES
Monday 07-12-2010 11:29am ET
Before you give away an old computer, or toss an unwanted hard drive, take care to wipe it clean of private information. A recent study found that many hard drives purchased second-hand, on sites like Craigslist and eBay, routinely contain sensitive or confidential data. In one instance a tech researcher was able to purchase an old ATM machine hard drive on eBay that contained 827 unique account PIN numbers. Another drive on eBay had previously been owned by a medical center and contained information on 31,000 credit card numbers.
Tech experts say that since the price for a new hard drive has gotten cheap it's not worth the risk to make a few bucks off a used one. You're best bet? Drill holes in the old drive and toss it.
