Dierks Bentley and his dog and best buddy, Jake, were reunited yesterday (Monday, January 14th) morning after the pooch went missing the night before. A panicked Dierks posted a message on Twitter on Sunday night writing, "jake has been missing for 5 hours now. jumped a fence during the thunderstorms. praying someone found him. a cold wet white dog. red collar."

Dierks, his family, friends, fans and even his label head went out searching for the lost dog despite heavy rains and threats of flooding. Dierks' tweet was re-tweeted by many, including Jake Owen and Jimmy Wayne. It was also posted on Facebook, which ultimately led to Jake's safe return.

Yesterday morning Dierks tweeted the good news writing, "Omg. my wife just told me someone found jake on facebook and is bringing him to our house!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" He followed that up with a picture of the good samaritan, named Anna Belle, Jake and himself.

Dierks later added, "One of the happiest days of my life. grown men don't cry . . . yeah right. thank you to everyone on facebook and twitter that spread the word."
